- Account and profile details, such as your email address, name, profile image, and sign-in provider details.
- Trip, journal, media, packing, bucket-list, social, and expense information that you choose to create or share in the app.
- Support request details, such as app version, device model, screenshots, and a description of the issue.
- Account details or identifiers you include so we can locate your Travel App account.
- Any information you include in a privacy or data-deletion request.
Information collected automatically
The website does not use cookies, advertising technology, or third-party marketing scripts. Travel App and the hosting platforms we use may process limited technical information needed to deliver, sync, secure, and troubleshoot the app and this site.
- Device, app, network, and platform details such as app version, operating system version, device type, and language.
- IP address, browser details, and basic request metadata for this website.
- Error, diagnostic, security, and operational event data used to maintain reliability.
- Push notification tokens and notification settings if notification features are enabled and you allow them.
Location and media
If you enable location features, Travel App may process location information such as trip location pings, tracker data, visited places, and related timestamps. If you upload photos, videos, or voice content, we may process the files and related metadata such as dimensions, duration, timestamps, and coordinates where available.
Diagnostics and notifications
We may process operational telemetry, support logs, and crash or diagnostics data to monitor reliability and investigate issues. Sentry may be used for crash and diagnostics reporting when enabled for a given build. Notification features may also require processing push tokens and notification preferences.

How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers only where needed to operate the app or website, authenticate users, store or process content, provide maps or geocoding, handle media delivery, send notifications, investigate crashes, respond to support or privacy requests, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or complete a business transfer.

- Clerk, Google, and Apple for authentication and sign-in.
- Convex for backend data storage and app sync.
- Cloudflare services, including R2, for hosting and media infrastructure.
- Mux for video processing and playback where applicable.
- Mapbox for map features.
- GeoNames for place lookup and geocoding support.
- OpenExchangeRates for currency conversion support.
- Sentry for crash and diagnostics reporting when enabled.
- Expo and related delivery services for app infrastructure and notifications.
Data retention
We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or compliance reasons. Some temporary technical records expire automatically, while some operational logs may be retained for longer support or security needs.
Data deletion
You can request deletion of eligible account data or personal information. We may need to verify your request before deleting information. Some content can already be deleted inside the app, while some account-level deletion steps are currently handled manually.
Account deletion
Full in-app account deletion is not currently available. You can request manual review of eligible Travel App account data through our Account and Data Deletion page.
Children's privacy
Travel App is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law unless this policy and the relevant app store settings are updated accordingly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate consent.
International users
Our apps and website may be accessed from countries or regions outside Estonia. Your information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate. Privacy protections may vary by location, but we will handle information as described in this policy.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
